SUMMARIES:
– “Nasi Lemak” Burger. Inspired by a local favourite, it’s flavourful and yummy! Delight in a juicy yet crispy, coconut flavoured chicken thigh patty, coated with cornflake crunch and, paired with a sweet yet spicy sambal sauce, then topped with a fried egg, caramelised onions and crunchy cucumbers slices. All between lightly toasted roti. Sedap!
– The EBI Filet-Omor Shrimp Filet-O, is a shrimp burger served at Japanese McDonald’s.
– McDonald’s in Thailand serves some pretty interesting foods and is considered one of the more unique international McDonald’s locations. Among popular items is a Samurai Pork burger. This sounds a little strange since Samurais are Japanese, not Thai, but the combination of pork, teriyaki sauce, mayo, and lettuce sounds delicious.
– The Black Burger features a bun fashioned from black squid ink with white sesame seeds, two beef patties, mashed potatoes, lettuce, bacon and truffle sauce. The White Burger is less exciting, consisting of a white bun topped with sesame seeds with a crispy chicken patty, mashed potatoes, lettuce, bacon and pepper mushroom sauce.
– The Le Grand Veggie or “The Great Veggie” is served on a thick bun with a combination of poppy, sesame and pumpkin seeds and a veggie patty made from French Emmental cheese and fresh vegetables.
– Greek Mac are Two 100% pure beef patties cooked with herbs and finished off with a white yoghurt sauce, fresh onions, tomatoes and lettuce and served in a pita bun.
– Instead of the standard slab of beef, tomato, lettuce, cheese and a pickle in the middle, the burger has a big gooey centre oozing with the famous Nutella spread, between 2 hamburger buns.
– Indian McDonald’s serve the Maharaja Mac with two options, chicken or veggie.
– Mickey D’s introduced this variation of the Quarter Pounder that adds spicy Doritos on top of the burger.
– In 2018 McDonald’s in Sweden introduced an all vegan burger called the McVegan.
